For over 95 years YMCA Camp Icaghowan, located in Amery, Wisconsin, has been helping boys and girls learn and discover the excitement of overnight camping. Days are action packed with activities that will challenge campers in a fun, safe setting. Programs and activities at Camp Icaghowan focus on the four core values of the YMCA: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. The staff is dedicated to developing a sense of community through small-group living and building the foundation of a caring community.
The mission of YMCA Camp Icaghowan is to provide a personally challenging and educational experience in an outdoor setting to a diverse group of children. Icaghowan is committed to helping campers achieve their fullest potential in mental development, social growth and physical well-being, with a spiritual awareness and an understanding of their natural environment.
Camp Icaghowan is also a place that can provide the relaxed environment conducive to learning, teambuilding and fellowship during the fall, winter and spring months. With winterized buildings and comfortable indoor meeting spaces, Icaghowan has been host to school groups, church groups, family reunions and corporate meetings and retreats.
